Family Worship
Occasionally, our 11am gatherings are set aside for Family Worship. FAQs

Our services are informal in style and we really hope you can feel at home straight away!
As you come in through the double doors on Mansfield Road, you can expect a friendly welcome from the Home Team, the people in orange lanyards. If you have any questions or don’t know where to go, these are your people! They can help you out or signpost you to someone else who can. They are also love a chat!
We suggest arriving a few minutes before the service starts, or during coffee and connect between the morning services, to get your bearings and find a seat up the stairs in the sanctuary. If you have children you can check them into Trinity Kids and Youth during this time.
A typical Trinity service will start with a short welcome given by the service leader from the front. We then spend time worshipping God through music. This always includes singing and sometimes dancing! The songs tend to have repetitive refrains that are easy to pick up and join in with, and you are welcome to participate as you feel comfortable. You might notice people engaging in lots of different ways around the room.
We usually go into a time of prayer led by the service leader or member of the congregation. This is where we bring things that we care about to God because we believe he hears us and is powerful to change situations.
We then have a time of giving where baskets are passed around. We also watch our video notices - things happening in the life of the church to get involved in.
There then will be a reading from the Bible and a member of the preaching team with give a talk for approximately 25 minutes based on that text.
After that, we respond to the talk by praying for one another and singing again. Once a month we share communion, which is when we eat bread and drink wine in remembrance of Jesus giving himself to die on the cross.
The service usually has a ‘soft’ close as prayer continues but the service has formally ended. You are welcome to stick around afterwards to chat or pray.

We welcome anyone with accessibility requirements and will endeavour to accommodate any needs you may have.
Our car park is reserved for team and people with disabilities, and our car parking steward will be able to help you find a space. The main sanctuary is accessible via the ramp door from the carpark, and there is similarly a ramp at the front door into the home space.
If you have any concern, please get in touch via info@trinitychurchnottingham.org prior to your visit so we can help make the necessary arrangements.
-
There is no dress code at Trinity; feel free to wear what you feel most comfortable in.
-
You are so welcome to turn up to any of our Sunday services. There is no need to book ahead or pay anything.
-
Anyone can come to our services, whether you are a committed Christian or know nothing about church!
-
We make lots of space to receive the Holy Spirit together and to encounter God. We may invite people forward to receive prayer ministry but please feel under no pressure to do so.
If you would appreciate a pastoral conversation in addition to prayer ministry, please just let one of the team know as we offer a wider Soul Care ministry.
-
For communion services, everyone will be offered a wafer or gluten free alternative. We ask that people sip from the communion cup rather than dipping their wafers, as this is understood to be the more hygienic option.
If you have any questions not answered here, please drop an email to info@trinitychurchnottingham.org and someone from our team will get back to you.
